Simple Forest

There is something very simple and appealing about orthogonal projections. Games with orthogonal views like Crossy Road have a gentle innocence. I’ve created a small orthogonal forest in Blender3D to explore this style. With only a few basic models and by scaling and rotating them I can build a little world. The style I’ve chosen is very blocky, the trees are square with only some curved surfaces, heavy bevels soften the edges. A rock and grass tuft provide ground elements and a fence provides some hard structure.
